Troubleshooting IBM Lotus Web Content Management Syndication

The IBM Support Tools portlet for Lotus WCM has some useful tools you can download (after registering with the site) to help in troubleshooting syndication, including:

  • DisplayNodes
  • DisplayEventLog
  • ClearPersistenceTable
  • Clearcaches

Site Map Portlet

This portlet displays a site map showing all the pages that the user can navigate to in the portal.
The site map is filtered based on the viewing user's privileges. The site map edit mode allows authorized users to determine what top level areas of the portal should be displayed.

Steps for Configuring SiteMap portlet :
1) Make sure PA_SearchSitemapPort is installed and started
 2) Create a new portal page and add 'Search Sitemap' portlet
 3) Go to edit mode in the site map portlet and specify what site areas you want to see and whether or not you want to see the site areas in the displayed map as shown in the attached screen shot
